Welcome to my blog, Travel to Kyrgyzstan!
My name is Joy and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I packed my bags to follow my boyfriend to live in his home country, Kyrgyzstan in July 2022. I've always been a passionate traveler and sort of a digital nomad, having lived and worked in countries such as Germany, South Korea, and the United States.
I'm the first out of all my friends and family to have visited Central Asia. In preparation for my move, naturally, I relied on online sources to do my research on Kyrgyzstan. I noticed that information was quite limited so I was inspired to create this blog to provide information to those who are looking to travel to this lesser-known destination, but a hidden gem.
