Mountain View Hot Spring Resort is a resort located in the southern district of Koy Tash in Bishkek. I was leaving Kyrgyzstan and going back to South Korea in mid-January, so I wanted the final chance to breathe in the cold fresh air and see the incredible view of the Kyrgyz mountains. Most importantly, I wanted to experience the hot springs and relax my body in the hot waters. I only went to the resort for a day so continue reading as I share my experience there.

How to Get There
What makes Mountain View Hot Spring Resort a great day activity is that it is a short drive away from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The resort is not located in the mountains such as Supara Chunkurchak, so the drive was only 25 minutes for us, starting from the southern point of the city and we were able to order a Yandex. If you have a car, you can easily follow the directions on Google Maps or 2GIS. The drive was smooth and we faced no issues getting there. If you are driving in the winter, make sure that your car is equipped with winter tires and drive with caution.
Types of Accommodations Available
This is a resort so you do have the option to stay the nights. The standard check-in time is from 14:00 and check-out time is until noon. As of January 17, 2024, these are the accommodation prices listed on their Instagram page:
Standard single: 7500 soms
Standard double: 9000 soms

Luxury: 15000 soms
Extra bed: 3000 soms
The room prices include a breakfast buffet, access to the indoor mineral water pool, an outdoor pool with hot mineral water, a Finnish wood-fired sauna, and a salt mine. There are additional paid services available such as massages, and billiards, and there is a restaurant available where you can eat lunch and dinner.
What to Eat
Since I was only visiting the resort for a day, I did not have the chance to eat at the restaurant. You can review their menu along with the prices on their Instagram page. They carry various dishes like salads, soups, grilled meats, fish, pizza, and steaks.
Activities to Do (Winter)
There are various relaxing activities you can do at the Mountain View Hot Spring Resort. They have a hot tub that you can use and I noticed that it was completely new. So, it was very clean and spacious enough for approximately four to five people to sit comfortably. Luckily, we went to the resort when there weren't many people, so we were able to go in and out whenever we liked without having to wait for others.
The indoor pool is quite large and the water was slightly cold. But switching between the hot tub and swimming pool made it manageable. I believe the pool is filled with mineral-rich water which is believed to have various health benefits such as improving circulation and stress relief.
They also have an outdoor pool which I don't have an image of. It is much smaller but the warm water in combination with the cold outdoors, made it such an enjoyable experience.
Cost and What to Bring
We came for just the day and it cost 2000 soms per person. The prices included access to the indoor mineral water pool, an outdoor pool with hot mineral water, a Finnish wood-fired sauna, and a salt mine.
All we had to bring was our swimsuit and personal care items. They provided us with robes, towels, and slippers.
